SilSeal™ high temperature, heat & flame resistant silicone rubber sponge foam tape with PSA is FDA compliant for food contact.

Used as a gasket, cushion, vibration dampner and is thermally insulating.  Can be used to wrap pipes, hoses and tubing to provide insulation or personnel contact protection against hot or cold.

Meets FDA 21 CFR 177.2600.

Available in 4 thicknesses: 1/16", 3/32", 1/8" and 3/16".  Standard roll widths of 0.5", 0.75", 1.0", 1.25", 1.50", 2", 2.50", 3" and any custom width.

The silicone adhesive provides a high temperatue range up to 500°F.  An acrylic adhesive version is rated to 325°F.

Surfaces should be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol prior to installation.

FireTape™ high temperature, heat & flame resistant tape is similar to our firesleeve except it can be installed in situations where tubular firesleeve cannot be used, as when industrial hoses, wires and cables cannot be disconnected to install a sleeve. (our firesleeve with velcro closure is also an alternative).

This high temperature tape is the perfect choice for protection of industrial hydraulic hoses and lines, pneumatic lines, fuel & oil lines, brake lines, wires, cables, tube and pipe from exposure to high and extreme heat conditions.  The extra thick special formulation of silicone rubber sheds molten metals, slag, welding splatter, electrical or grinding sparks and contamination.  This tape also provides protection from ozone, UV and abrasion and provides thermal insulation.

Fiberglass Woven Gasket & Thermal Insulating Tape: High Temperature & Heat Resistant


1200°F / 648°C Continuous Exposure: Higher Intermittent

DeltaGlass high temperature tape is heat, flame and fire resistant.  Fiberglass (fibreglass or glass-fibre) woven tapes are fabricated from high quality type E fiberglass that will not burn and will withstand continuous exposure to temperatures of 1200°F / 648°C.

These high temperature tapes provide protection of industrial wires, cables, hoses, tube and pipe and also provide thermal insulation and personnel protection. l.  For thermal insulation applications choose the plain tape and not the bolt-hole ladder tape.

It is flexible and conformable.  For a higher degree of flexibility and conformability, consider using a knitted tape instead of a woven tape.

Available thicknesses include 1/32", 1/16", 1/8", 1/4".  These tapes are available with Pressure Sensitive Adhesive to aid in placing the tape.

Fiberglass Heat Treated Woven Gasket & Thermal Insulating Tape: High Temperature & Heat Resistant

DeltaGlass high temperature tape is heat, flame and fire resistant.  Fiberglass (fibreglass or glass-fibre) woven tapes are fabricated from high quality type E fiberglass that will not burn and will withstand continuous exposure to temperatures of 1200°F / 648°C.  The heat treated version is dimensionally stable.and has its loose fibers removed.

These high temperature tapes provide protection of industrial wires, cables, hoses, tube and pipe and also provide thermal insulation and personnel protection. l.  For thermal insulation applications choose the plain tape and not the bolt-hole ladder tape.

It is flexible and conformable.  For a higher degree of flexibility and conformability, consider using a knitted tape instead of a woven tape.

Available thicknesses include 1/32", 1/16", 1/8", 1/4".  These tapes are available with Pressure Sensitive Adhesive to aid in placing the tape.

Fiberglass Knit Gasket & Thermal Insulating Tape: High Temperature & Heat Resistant

DeltaGlass high temperature tape is heat, flame and fire resistant.  Fiberglass (fibreglass or glass-fibre) knit tapes are fabricated from high quality type E fiberglass that will not burn and will withstand continuous exposure to temperatures of 1200°F / 648°C.

These high temperature tapes provide protection of industrial wires, cables, hoses, tube and pipe and also provide thermal insulation and personnel protection. For thermal insulation applications choose the plain version instead of the Drop-Warp tape (center longitudinal yarns missing), often called a bolt-hole tape or ladder tape.

It is highly flexible and conformable providing a higher degree of flexibility and conformability versus a woven tape.  Due to its flexibility, knit tapes are often the tape of choice for holding glass or quartz viewing windows in place on hot process equipment such as in metal processing facilities..

Available thickness is 1/8".  These tapes are available with Pressure Sensitive Adhesive to aid in placing the tape.

These high temperature tapes provide protection of industrial wires, cables, hoses, tube and pipe and also provide thermal insulation and personnel protection. Also used as a gasket or seal.  Available as a Plain tape or Drop-Warp tape (center longitudinal yarns missing), often called a bolt-hole tape or ladder tape.

It is flexible and conformable.  Available thicknesses include 1/16", 1/8".  These tapes are available with Pressure Sensitive Adhesive to aid in placing the tape.

Vermiculite Coated Fiberglass Woven Gasket & Thermal Insulating Tape: High Temperature & Heat Resistant


1500°F / 815°C Continuous Exposure: Higher Intermittent

FlameShield 1500 vermiculite coated tape is a high temperature, heat and flame resistant thermal insulating tape that will withstand temperatures of 1500°F / 815°C continuous exposure.  The base High Temperature braided fiberglass sleeving is fabricated from high quality type E fiberglass that will not burn.  The sleeve is then coated with a vermiculite dispersant.

It is highly flexible and conformable.

Applications for this product include thermal insulation and/or protection of wires, cables, hoses, pipe and tube, as well as affording energy savings and personnel protection.

The vermiculite coating also adds abrasion resistance to the sleeve.

The tape is available in Plain and Drop Warp Styles.  Drop Warp tape has several of the center lengthwise yarns missing during weaving, and allows the tape to be easily used for bolt-hole applications (sometimes called ladder tape).

Tested and certified to meet ASTM E 162, ASTM E 662 and SMP 800-C for surface flammability, smoke and toxic gas production.

Silica InSilMax Slit & Woven Gasket Seal Insulating Tapes: High Temperature,  Heat, Flame and Fire Resistant

InSilMax™ is an extreme high temperature, heat and flame resistant silica tape, and is an excellent alternative to asbestos and ceramic based textiles. This high temperature tape can be used to wrap and protect wires, cables, hoses, pipes and tubes, and also provides energy savings and personnel protection.

Silica InSIlMax tapes are used extensively as a gasket tape in many industrial and commercial applications on duct flanges in order to meet fireproof ratings as the tape does not burn under flame exposure.

Ceramic Fiber CerMax Woven Tapes: High Temperature,  Heat, Flame and Fire Resistant


2000°F / 1093°C Continuous Exposure: Higher Intermittent

CerMax™ is an extreme temperature, heat and flame resistant thermal insulating ceramic fiber tape will withstand temperatures of 2000°F / 1093°C continuous exposure.

This material resists most acids and alkalis and is unaffected by most bleaches and solvents.  It is highly flexible and conformable.

This tape is available with fiberglass or wire reinforcement to give the tape dimensional stability.

Applications for this product include thermal insulation and/or protection of wires, cables, hydraulic hoses, pipe and tube, as well as affording energy savings and personnel protection.  These tapes are also commonly used as gasket seal tapes for high temperature boiler doors, stoves and burner apparatus.

The tape is available in Plain and Drop Warp Styles.  Drop Warp tape has several of the center lengthwise yarns missing during weaving, and allows the tape to be easily used for bolt-hole applications (sometimes called ladder tape).

Custom fabricated insulated wrapping tape for pipe, hose and line protection: high temperature protection and cold temperature protection.  Excellent thermal protection and energy saving for boiler piping and steam pipe applications.  Also provides thermal insulation and protection to flexible hoses and lines, and rigid lines and piping.  Can be used to meet OSHA reuirements for personnel burn protection.

The outer cover is a 32oz/yd2 silicone rubber coated fiberglass.  This outer fabric can also be supplied meeting NRC 1.36 specifications for use in nuclear facilities.  The insulation layer and outer protection layer also meets MIL-I-24244 specifications.

The insulation layer is can be either 1/4", 1/2" or 3/4" thick fiberglass. The 3/4" thickness is a combination of 1/4" and 1/2" insulation layered and stitched.

An optional liner of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric provides additional protection of the insulation layer, especially useful if the tape will be removed and re-installed multiple times, or to prevent wear of the needled insulation and reducing the fibers from becoming free in the area of use.  This insulated pipe and hose wrap tape is sewn with high temperature fiberglass thread.

A hook and loop fastener is added on the edges of the tape, allowing for easy closure and removal - allowing for easy inspection of the underlying hose, line or piping. The standard hook and loop is nylon; nomex and stainless steel closure versions are available.

May be installed longitudinally or spirally over pipes, hoses, wires and cables.  Supplied in 20 foot lengths.  May be cut in the field to shorter lengths.
