Powder Coating Bake Oven Door Gasket Seals - High Temperature Heat Resistant Fiberglass Based
For temperatures up to 1200F / 648C
We offer a variety of gasket seals for powder coating bake oven door seals. The most common are tapes, ropes and tadpole tapes.
For ovens requiring exceptionally clean fibre-free non-shedding gaskets - heat cleaned versions of the same tapes, ropes and tadpoles are available.
Tapes are typically affixed with hardware - machine screws or self tapping screws with backing washers.
Square ropes are typically affixed by pressing into a support channel that has been added to the frame or door, or has been machined into it.
Special high compression ropes with mounting clips that are pressed into holes drilled into the door or frame, spaced at 3" intervals.
Tadpole tapes are typically mounted with a grab bar, or with machine screws or self tapping screws with backing washers.
Typical values for a seal would be: 3/8" bulb or rope OD for a door that compresses the gasket to 1/4". 1/2" bulb or rope for a door that compresses the gasket to 3/8". Or 5/8" bulb or rope for a door that compresses the gasket to 1/2.". If the door gap is 1/4" or less when closed, then a tape gasket is often a better choice.
1200°F / 648°C Continuous Exposure: Higher Intermittent
This high temperature fiberglass rope gasket seal for powder coating bake oven doors is fabricated with high quality type E fiberglass that will not burn and will withstand continuous exposure to temperatures of 1200°F / 648°C.
This rope gasket features high compression capability and excellent push back with virtually no compression set, with high cycle life, due to the knitted metallic stainless steel core.
This rope gasket features high compression capability and excellent push back with virtually no compression set, with high cycle life, due to the knitted metallic stainless steel core.
Two size of the rope are available: OD of 0.42"/10.7mm & 0.57"/14.4mm. Clip spacing is 3". Clips may be removed with side cutters.
1200°F / 648°C Continuous Exposure: Higher Intermittent
This high temperature precision fiberglass tadpole tape is fabricated with high quality type E fiberglass that will not burn and will withstand continuous exposure to temperatures of 1200°F / 648°C. Used as a gasket or seal for powder coating oven doors.
The outer fiberglass cover is heat treated resulting in no loose fibers, making this tadpole suitable for clean room and paint booth applications as well.
This tadpole features high compression with excellent puch back, little compression set, and high cycle life, due to the knitted metallic sleeve core.
Two versions of the tadpole are available: 1) 1 3/8" Overall Width with 5/8" bulb. 2) 1 1/4" Overall Width with 1/2" bulb.
The tail is supplied as a flat tube, which may remain empty or may be filled with a fiber or metal rope, etc. by the customer. A filled tail allows for mounting in a slot.
1200°F / 648°C Continuous Exposure: Higher Intermittent
These high temperature, heat & flame resistant and thermal insulating fiberglass tadpole tapes are fabricated with high quality type E fiberglass that will not burn and will withstand continuous exposure to temperatures of 1200°F / 648°C. This tadpole features either a fiberglass rope bulb core or a metal mesh bulb core.
- Tadpole Tape Available Widths (Over-All Width): 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", 1 3/4", 2", 2 1/2" and 3".
- Tadpole Tape Bulb Diameters: 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 1".
- Tadpole Tape Standard lengths: 50 and 100 feet. By-the-foot lengths also available.
Tadpole tapes are fabricated items, delivery is typically 3 to 10 business days.
1200°F / 648°C Continuous Exposure: Higher Intermittent
This high temperature, heat and flame resistant fiberglass gasket and seal rope is often used as a powder coating oven door seal, fabricated from high quality type E fiberglass that will not burn and will withstand continuous exposure to temperatures of 1200°F / 648°C.
The seals are then jacketed with a knitted 301 stainless steel wire mesh, providing significant abrasion resistance. Supplied cut to length, each seal can be custom fabricated from a wide variety of diameters and configurations to provide the precise thickness and depth of seal for each U channel design specification.
1200°F / 648°C Continuous Exposure: Higher Intermittent
DeltaGlassä high temperature knit tape is heat, flame and fire resistant and fabricated from high quality type E fiberglass that will not burn and will withstand continuous exposure to temperatures of 1200°F / 648°C.
Flexible and conformable. Knit tapes provide a higher degree of flexibility and conformability versus a woven tape. Available thickness is 1/8".
